Karol Okrasa is one of Polish cooking’s leading lights and Platter is his new project. Completely original menus change often as Okrasa demonstrates that there is so much more to Polish food than starch and stodge. During our visit we were rewarded with lamb shoulder with vegetables, pearl barley, and marinated kohlrabi. The tastes were superb and although you are paying towards the top end of Polish restaurant prices here, you are getting to enjoy one of Poland’s top young chefs at the price of a London steak house. Relaxed, friendly staff who know how to make you feel welcome only add to the experience.

I had lunch there the other day, a fantastic experience and, I have to say, with a 3 course meal that I found ready to put Poland on the map of Michelin Stars, the price of 105 Zloty including mineral water (all I need, or rather can afford to drink for lunch), tax, service - I find it a rather reasonable deal !Have not been for dinner but definitely will soon !
