The Portuguese are an artistic lot, and the finest photography in the land is found here inside an old jail house. The Portuguese Centre of Photography was opened in 1997 and showcases some of the most exquisite photos taken, with a rotating band of temporary exhibitions that are staggering in their consistency. Photography nerds will be in their element here. The setting is all sorts of cool as well.
