Plzeň’s restaurant U Sedlerů is situated on the Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí) in a Neo-Renaissance building of the same name, which has a long hospitality tradition. In the 19th century it used to be a brewery, and after the building was reconstructed, a renowned restaurant was operated here until the World War II. Today, the building hosts a cosy PILSNER URQUELL restaurant, offering superb draft beer “Plzeňský Prazdroj” from a TANK and the dark beer “Velkopopovický kozel”. The drink menu includes a wide choice of local fruit brandies Žufánek, Czech and Moravian wines. Czech cuisine with seasonal specials is served. Speciality of this restaurant is the traditional Czech dishes like beef goulash, braised beef with creamy sauce, roast duck with dumplings and pork knuckle.
