Crystal, unique art and beautifully made wooden toys and objects are the true Prague souvenirs, but the tacky T-shirt trade is one of the most lucrative. The totally cheesy Czech Me Out T-shirts and communist slogans tend to hide a few quality items, such as Mucha, Kafka and others. Competition, even on Charles Bridge, means prices are fairly even, but the more tourist areas tend to have higher prices.
