Qwensel House

Whenever something is described as being the ‘oldest’ anything we’re generally interested, and the ‘oldest wooden house in Turku’ is a sure fire winner for us. That crown falls on the fragile roof of the Qwensel House, a former home for nobles that has been preserved in its entirety. The house is also home to the city’s Pharmacy Museum, a fascinating look into the history of medicine in the oldest preserved chemists building in Finland.
