The lovely people at SilesiaTrip.pl have now populated the greater Katowice metropolitan area with quick and easy bike rental stations. Bikes are delivered to customers anywhere in the city. They've also got electric bikes, but they should be booked in advance. 20zł per hour or 80zł for a whole day. Operating from April to October.
