Silfra

Thingvellir National Park     more than a year ago
Silfra is a fissure (or simply said a big crack) in the surface of Earth, which is underwater and constitutes a space between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. The site is invisible to the human eye unless you go snorkeling and investigating it further. Yet, it is said to be like no other place on Earth - with its crystal clear waters and over 100 metres of underwater visibility.
