The Cemetery of Heroes is the last resting place for the Latvian soldiers who died defending Latvia from 1915 - 1920. Built by Kārlis Zāle in the constructivist style of the 1920s with white tufa, you can't miss the impressive statue of 'Mother Latvia' that dominates an army of little graves and grieving stone warriors. Take tram N°11 from Barona to the Brāļu kapi stop.
