This thoroughly Scandinavian cafeteria is located on the 4th floor of the Stockmann department store ensuring a clear view of the crowded thoroughfare below. Light wooden furniture, lots of natural light and a generally grey colour scheme can be expected here as well as an impressive buffet including international (not Latvian) food like potato gnocchi or chicken fillets in blue cheese sauce. A cook-to-order pasta bar is also available and all of the big salads offer sauce on the side – a nice touch. Wine, beer, coffee and tasty desserts are also available, but you’ll have to pay more here than at other cafeterias in Riga. We did, after all, warn you that it’s a Scandinavian-style establishment.
