Indian Raja

All of the dishes served here are so veritably Indian, it's almost overwhelming. This is hardly Baltic-modified cuisine, which is why the bill won't be small, but it will reflect one of the best dining investments in the city. Although many of them have Indo European roots, most locals still shy away, which means you, expats and tourists, will have the peaceful interior and its incredible views of St.Peter's Church and its medieval surroundings all to yourself.

Just visited the restaurant page as I needed the phone number to book a large table and took the time to read the other comments on my favourite restaurant. I have eaten here over 100 times in the last few years and never had a bad experience, this is one of the very best Indian restaurants I have ever been too. anywhere in the world. Reading the other comments regarding price and quality and thought I would add my own opinion, I live in Riga and this is the only proper Indian rest in the city and it is very competitively priced and represents great value compared to Indian restaurants in Ireland, England or the US.

Take it from someone that has visited 100's of Indian restaurants all over the world; Indian Raja is a "MUST SEE" while in Riga! I have visited Indian Raja many times over the years and can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Give them a try you won't be sorry you did!

There's always been Indian chefs when I've been there, the food has been reasonable though the prices are more expensive than a lot of other places.

We found this to be less than authentic and over priced. Service was adequate. There was no indian chef in the kitchen on the night that we visited.
