Entirely hidden by blocks, few visitors to - or even residents of - Bucharest are even aware of this church's existence. It is in fact right in the centre of the city, opposite Unirea Shopping Centre, behind the Raifeissen bank on the corner of B-dul Corneliu Coposu and B-dul I. C. Bratianu. Founded in 1774 the small church boasts two exterior frescoes as well as a richly ornamental interior, complete with golden altar. One of the church's wooden icons dates from 1711 and was formerly housed in the Sarindar Church (situated where the Cercul Militar is today).
