If location really is everything then you can't do much better than this cracking place on Str. Cobalcescu, next to the Ministry of Defence and opposite Cismigiu Park. The building is a superb Secession renovation on a street that boasts some extraordinary buildings: it is a shame not all are up to this standard. Inside the rooms are simple, tastefully decorated and offer excellent value for money. Bathrooms have either a bath or a shower.

Simply the friendliest hotel in BucharestGood and spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice service and excellent buffet breakfast. Really enjoy my stay of 5 nights there. Wonderful rest in Trianon Hotel which is very closed to the Old City Center - only 10 minutes walk - and Cismigiu Garden. Really good starting point for a clockwise circular stroll of Bucharest btw we avoided with experiences with taxi drivers! Stylish and extremely comfortable rooms, open-air terrace to have a rest with a traditional Tzuica or Romanian beer like Timisoarana, Ciucas, Ursus...! Free Wi-Fi access…The place to be in Bucharest for budget travellers / backpackers but not only!
