Babes-Bolyai University is the largest university in the country, and its name was created by combining the surnames of two renowned scientists from Transylvania, Romanian bacteriologist Victor Babes and Hungarian mathematician Janos Bolyai. This globally recognised university boasts multilingual classes, students being able to study study in Romanian, Hungarian, German, English, and French.
