Could be a tourist trap given its position on Piata Mare, but just about manages not to be. Service is good (often not the case on this square) and the food is more than serviceable local fare. Decent ciorba, good stews and fluffy omelettes if you're here for breakfast. Lovely terrace in summer. The pizza is not great but that's about our only complaint. You can do worse.
