Fronted by the most gigantic neon facade this side of Vegas, Planeta is the huge all-singing, all-dancing and slightly kitsch bar and nightclub set in the centre of town which caters for the more mature party animals in town. Most punters seem to start the night off in the very pleasant pub/restaurant area downstairs before heading through the airport-style security and up the stairs to hit the burgeoning dancefloor or belt out some karaoke. Troupes of dancers in various states of undress spin on raised platforms and word has it that the smaller hall is decorated with a design of wallpaper which appears in a Tarantino movie.
