Dudki Bar is the best bar and restaurant in Kostroma hands down. With a laid back atmosphere that features an entire wall of dog portraits and a popular terrace, it succeeds on all levels (except for the inconsistent music selection, but we are willing to forgive them for that). The food (with a seasonal and regular menu) and service were well above average and not just for Kostroma. They brew their own Dudki beer and feature a menu of appetizers and mains such as salads, pastas and steaks. The chicken quesadillas and Italian tomato seafood soup were very tasty, with fresh seafood and homemade sauces.
