It's hard to miss this monumentally sized Soviet giant in all its flickering neon-light glory, towering over the street opposite the VDNKh exhibition centre. Despite its lackluster appearance and casino-like lobby, Cosmos is still a reasonable option given its price and location. Rooms are basic, clean and inoffensive. This is a heavy-duty tour group hot-spot meaning that rooms can look slightly worn. Ask for a room with a view of the famous Ostankino tower.
