Even if you aren’t a fan of stuffed animals and taxidermy, this is still an interesting museum to go to. It consists of three floors that fit into the theme of evolution. The first floor touches on the history of the Darwin Museum and biological diversity. Although there are few signs in English, the exhibitions are fairly straight-forward. The first floor also showcases many of the world’s ecosystems and recreations of some extinct animals. The next two floors deal with micro and macro evolution, zoogeography and the development of scientific thought. There are hundreds of stuffed animals set up in their natural habitat as well as an interesting look at how humans evolved.
