Take a ride in a time machine and go back to the good old soviet canteen days right in the heart of Moscow. A retro-chic canteen and bar, where the prices also resemble those of 20 years ago, Kamchatka is a favourite with the city’s new breed of ironically bearded "hipsters" (who were probably too young to remember the bars of the early 1990s) and tourists who want a little taste of Russia’s Soviet past. Nowhere will you find beer this cheap in central Moscow. In the evenings and on weekends the canteen really starts coming alive with DJs spinning the best of Russian and Soviet retro classics.
