A museum about street lamps?! Sounds dull? Not when you are controlling the lighting effects yourself! This small and eccentric little place devoted to the history of Moscow street lighting is as interactive as it is unusual. Using the nifty little remote control, you can see first hand just why people complained about the first gas lamps, saying the moon shone brighter, and experience how the discovery of the electric lamp was such a world changing event. There’s also a big collection of clocks in the end of the exhibition, which amounts to only four rooms in all. English booklets available at the entrance.
