Serebryany Bor (Silver Pinewood) is an enormous forest park in the west of Moscow. In the summers, it’s one of Muscovites' favorite recreation destinations because it is ideal for biking and when the mercury in thermometers starts crawling upwards, swimming is also an option thanks to the well-equipped beaches along the Moscow River. There are also playgrounds, tennis courts, beach volleyball, gazeebos equipped with BBQ facilities and much more available to rent. This is where more affluent Muscvoites come to relax, unwind and enjoy the nature on weekends or throw huge birthday parties, weddings and other events.
