This is a clean and pretty hotel with an ideal location exactly opposite the Admiralteiskaya metro station and literally round the corner from the Hermitage. Considering its standards, it is also great value for money. Occupying one floor of a mid-19th-century building, there is a large, modern café, open 24hrs with satellite tv, a long couch, coffee tables, free tea and coffee and open kitchen facilities. Turn left onto Bolshaya Morskaya, then take your first right – the door is no. 2, next to an arch. Dial code 19B and go to the fourth floor.

I was fortunate enough to find Nevsky Inn while in Moscow on my way to St. Petes. This is a wonderful inn. Olga and Natasia are wonderful and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful, the accommodation is great. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting St. Petersburg.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May, 2009. Other than climbing 73 steps in a dingy hallway dragging our luggage, it was wonderful, more than I expected. The staff is easy to talk with, recommended great restaurants, cooked breakfast cheerfully. The room was neat & clean, bed linens were high quality, room was cleaned daily, bottled water was reasonably priced. It was easy to walk everywhere - Winter Palace, Peter & Paul Fortress, Bronze Horseman, etc. I'd stay here again with no hesitation.
