Established in 2003, The Danish Cultural Institute in Saint Petersburg works towards promoting Danish culture in Russia as well as Russian culture in Denmark. Through collaboration with the General Consulate and Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Russia and through collaboration with various Russian and Danish cultural institutions, The Danish Cultural Institute organizes exhibitions, concerts and other cultural events. By establishing cultural exchange between the two countries, The Danish Cultural Institute aims to create mutual understanding and appreciation of the other's culture, as well as creating an atmosphere where the different cultures can inspire and learn from one another.
