A diverse and interesting crowd congregates at this dark and grungy club — perhaps because it’s at the entrance of the city's largest 'working and living' centre for artists. Fishka is one of the more intimate live-music venues in the city and on a busy night, it has a positively bubbling atmosphere, although you'll be pressed for a place to sit. On quieter nights, it's a relaxed place to listen to music, or try your hand at table soccer. Live concerts usually Thu, Fri, Sat, starts 23:00.

I cannot believe this place is still open! I was an exchange student in 1994 and discovered this place one night. I remember the "fussball" - that's table soccer - and the Baltika beer served at the bar. It had a very grunge-Seattle kind of feel to it. It was a nice place to hang out on a weeknight, listen to Nirvana and Pearl Jam, play fussball, drink Baltika beer and chill after class. If you can find this place, duck in and check it out.
