At Francesco you'll be greeted by tasteful design, courteous staff and great looking dishes made with the freshest ingredients. We were particularly impressed with the wine menu, which is about as thick as a phone book, and the huge leafy salads. The whole place looks and feels like a middle-class Tuscan home, complete with plants, bird cages, wine bottles, cupboards filled with crockery and tables bursting with happy families enjoying classic Italian trattoria food.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Fast and polite service, English-speaking staff and cozy tables. Good both for family dinner and a romantic evening. Wide variety of vines and acceptable menu. Favу dishes: parma ham and melon salad and english-cream berries dessert.

Absolutely fantastic laid back brilliant food and wine and totally warm and welcoming staff. We discovered this on holiday in st P and hotfooted it back to London to find the Mayfair alternative.This man is a genius!
