A very elegant Russian restaurant on the Moika embankment, a few steps away from the Hermitage. The name of the restaurant, Janno, is a French version of the name Ivan. This name is chosen because in the 19th century this building belonged to the family of Ivan Pushchin, the famous Russian decembrist, poet and a friend of Alexander Pushkin. In the menu you will find classic Russian dishes made with a signature touch of the head chef Nikita Golotsvan. Besides a big selection of wine and cocktails, they offer great homemade tinctures (in Russian - nastoika). In the morning they also serve breakfast (weekdays from 07:30, weekend from 08:00). Janno is a nice place to relax after a long day of sightseeing or enjoy a romantic date.
