Named after the Armenian region within Turkey, this Caucasian-style restaurant is popular among members of the Armenian diaspora in St. Petersburg, whom can often be spotted here celebrating family holidays. Comprised of six halls, Kilikia serves up all the Armenian favourites, including khourma, shashlyk, and tava plates (a kind of stew). All are excellent. The breads come from their own stone oven, which also doubles as a heater to keep the place toasty on cold winter evenings.
