In the space that Leo Tolstoy rented an apartment in 1856 comes new craft beer and local cuisine serving café-bar Russofeel. With a restrained patriotism (only one Matryoshka doll on the premises), the atmosphere is a modern carnation of a past time: plush velvet, books and the Waltz in F Major swirl about patrons. Traditional fare with a modern twist is conjured by Chef Sergey Golubev: lard with grain bread, potato soup, buckwheat popcorn in buckwheat porridge with chicken, duck salad with sherry sauce, apple pirog (pie) with nuts and salted caramel.
