Usachevskie Banyas are located on Kryukov canal embankment, in the historic quarter of St. Petersburg. Two-storey brick building designed by architect Kovsharov appeared on this site in 1883. The last owner of the baths, merchant Grigory Litovsky, made this place popular among St. Petersburg residents of any class: there were several branches for wealthy citizens, middle-class people and the poor. The tradition is alive today.
