Buses leave from the central bus station to most of the cities in the Novgorod region, to the biggest cities of the North-West (e.g. St. Petersburg) and to Riga (Latvia). Shuttle buses connect the cities of the Novgorod region (Veliky Novgorod, Staraya Russa) with St. Petersburg.
