If you’re interested in intriguing stories about the old inner city, but you don’t feel like hearing nothing but dry dates and events, book a theatrical walk with Marcel Koopman and Erik Grootswagens. Jaap and Henk, the alter egos of these two actors, take organised groups (and sometimes individuals) along on a Playful Theatrical Tour of the Town (Ludieke Theatrale Stadswandeling). In an hour and a half, these two weirdos, dressed in sixties costumes with berets, leather briefcases and indispensable umbrellas, will give a fresh and comical view on the ‘s-Hertogenbosch centre. With absurd humour, these gentlemen create a fantasy world, which is always based on historical facts. At the end of the walk, which invariably ends around the city market, you'll still have lots to talk about. Which part was fact? And which part was fiction? Because the duo are walking encyclopedias as well as born entertainers, the route is different each time. Ideal as a team outing, family trip or even a bachelor party.
