Vincent van Gogh House

  Markt 26/27, Zundert      (+31) 765 97 85 90     more than a year ago
Every year large groups of tourists and other art lovers travel to Zundert, a small town in Brabant. Vincent van Gogh, the son of a minister, was born on the Markt in Zundert in 1853. Unfortunately, the actual house where Holland's most famous painter was born was demolished in 1903, but a plaque on the wall of the new building that replaced it marks the exact spot. The current Vincent van Gogh House art centre was created by merging two historic buildings and will soon house a large exhibition space located partially underground in the garden behind both houses.
