Ideally situated between old and new town adjacent to Princes Street Gardens - Waverley Station is the main railway station although there are several smaller ones depending on where you are travelling to.
Trains arrive here from all over the UK and continue north to Aberdeen and Inverness or westwards to Glasgow.
First opened in 1846, it was rebuilt between 1892 and 1902. The station is currently completing rennovation works (due to be finished in Spring 2019) bringing the station up to 21st century demands, whilst retaining the historic beauty and charm of the old waiting area.
