Set in the hills north of Niš - in the village of Kamenički Vis to be exact - at an altitude of over 800m, Kod Šipe is one of the only restaurants around where you can dine on a selection of game meats. Wild boar and venison is served up fresh directly from the surrounding forests, and other menu standouts include various grilled fish dishes and homemade sheep cheese. The idyllic mountain setting and one of a kind food make the trip up here well worth the effort.
