Despite being named after one of the most ambitious and successful Roman emperors, the airport in Niš is a fairly stripped back affair. The airport is located 4km northwest of Niš and is a quiet affair to say the least, but this certainly works to its advantage. Getting in and out of the airport is simple enough, although don’t expect much in the way of facilities. A taxi to or from there should cost no more than 400RSD, and it is always best to book a private one as opposed to jumping in with the sharks outside the terminal.
