One of the first private hotels in Novi Sad, Rimski is a popular budget option a short stroll north of the city centre. Its different coloured rooms don't hide their age, but are well cared for and repainted every year or two, and the Spanish tile floors are a nice touch, especially during the hot summer months. Friendly helpful staff will go out of their way make your stay pleasant, and the place almost has a family-run feel to it. Rooms in the annex - which was originally the entire hotel - are without AC and some other amenities, but can be had for quite a bit less than those in the main building.
