Sibiu's Synagogue (built from 1898-9) has apparently not been used as a place of worship for a number of years, given the city's tiny Jewish population, who instead meet for prayer in a smaller building. Sibiu currently has no Rabbi. The Synagogue remains open for visitors however, although you need to ask at the office (behind the Synagogue) for somebody to open up for you.
