Kozjak

more than a year ago
Kozjak is a man-made lake southwest of Skopje, and is the largest artificial lake in Macedonia. It's an impressive 32 kilometres long, but only 400 meters wide at its widest part, so it actually looks more like a river than a lake despite the name. Up to 130 meters deep, Kozjak is quite rich in flora and fauna, and home to many different species of plants and wildlife.
