If you're not satisfied with the views from the SkyPoint observation deck at 'only' 230m, then leave the little ones at the hotel and book your spot on a SkyPoint Climb, which takes small groups on treks further up the Q1's spire on a specially built stairway and rail system to a final height of 270m. Along the way, climb leaders point out geographical, historical and cultural landmarks in the city below and even off in the hinterland. Lasting some 90 minutes in total, climbs include a stay at the summit for additional questions and the requisite photo opportunities. In addition to the regular day climbs, special twilight climbs offer the chance to take in sunsets (for a premium price), while several climb and dine packages are also available. Tickets also include access to the observation deck, for a post climb drink or bite to eat. However, make sure to read the fine print regarding appropriate clothing and shoes, health requirements, and blood alcohol limits, so as not to be disappointed when you're not allowed to participate at your scheduled time. Among other things there is a minimum height of 130cm, children between the ages of 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 12 not permitted.
