Located approximately 9km away from the centre of town, Bratislava’s airport isn’t gargantuan but then it doesn’t need to be. It is something of a hub for the European low-cost brigade, with Ryanair using it for a variety of destinations. Bus number 61 travels between airport and city, leaving the airport every 20 minutes between 04:45 and 23:30. The last bus from the city to the airport leaves the main train station at 23:05.
