Košice International Airport

Located just 3.7 miles from the very centre of Košice, Medzinárodné letisko Košice is Slovakia’s second largest airport and a centre for both domestic and international flights. It isn’t the busiest airport in the world, although there are a couple of restaurants and cafes to keep you busy while you wait for the flight. Extra routes have sprung up over the last few years, with focus on Turkey and the Mediterranean proving particularly popular. To get to the airport from town, jump on the number 23 bus, which goes through town as well as the train and bus stations.
