An accomplished designer and artist for well over a decade, Tanja Pak has had her work in glass displayed at both individual and group exhibitions around the world, and has been a professor at Ljubljana's Academy of Fine Arts and Design since 2001. In 2005 she opened Gallery Glesia, which was the first and still only gallery in Slovenia dedicated to promoting the expressive and aesthetic value of the medium of glass, and where the work of established artists in different fields is presented alongside her own permanent exhibitions. Among numerous other accolades, her work received honourable mention at the Red Dot awards in both 2008 and 2009.
