With a history dating back more than four centuries, Gostilna Vitez (or the Knight's Inn) is one of the most storied restaurants in town and has hosted virtually every larger than life personality to call Ljubljana home or simply visit over the years - from Prešeren to Josip Broz Tito. After laying dormant for several years, the legendary establishment reopened in 2019, with modern touches beautifully coupled with local tradition on the menu as well as the interior design. The former features an assortment of dishes freshly prepared from the highest quality ingredients, and there are various tasting menus, daily specials and seasonal offers to choose from.
