Originally built in 1965, the venerable Tivoli Hall sports complex has a prime location at the eastern edge of Tivoli Park just outside Ljubljana's city centre. It's the home of the HDD Olimpija Ljubljana hockey club, and was the long-time home of the KK Union Olimpija basketball team before the latter officially moved to Stožice Arena in 2011. The Group A first round matches of EuroBasket will all be played in the larger of the two arenas at the site, which can seat up to 5500 spectators. There are quite a few bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, including the famous Hot Horse, the original home of the horse burger in Ljubljana.
