Only 1km from Stožice Arena, Horse's Pub is something of a Ljubljana institution and one of the first places we went for a beer after moving to the city way back when the tolar still existed. Despite the name, it fits squarely in the café/bar category, with a modern interior, fancy cocktails and a terrace you will likely have to queue for a table at during sunny spring and summer evenings. Most Thursdays are also reserved for Slovenian wine tastings accompanied by tasty canapés. Of course like any good pub, there's plenty of Guinness and beer (in this case Heineken) on draught. Buses 6, 8 and 11 will all take you there from the city centre.
