The newest wing of the National Museum of Slovenia can be found in Metelkova, the subversive beating heart of the city. Being Metelkova it was always going to have an artistic spin with what it offers, and we're not disappointed. The Slovene Ethnographic Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art, Slovenian Cinemateque and the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage are all here, as well as a permanent exhibition showcasing the heritage of the applied arts throughout the country.
