Ljubljana's most storied cinema is the place to head for a diverse programme of non-Hollywood, art house and European films. They also play a key role in hosting most of Ljubljana's film festivals, and even run a film museum. The vintage lobby and bar also has an atmosphere that makes hanging out for a post-film drink or two a great idea. Be sure to carefully check the spoken and/or subtitled language beforehand, lest you end up sitting through a 3-hour Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western dubbed in Italian like we've done on at least one occasion.
