A historic café found in the city's Castle Square. It used to attract Maribor's noted intellectuals and artists but now pulls in the student variety - a little further down the intellectual food chain, perhaps. Coffeehouse Astoria has plenty of outside seating and a restaurant upstairs. They also have a separate stall selling ice-cream in the warmer months, not an unusual feature in these parts.
