Garni Tabor

A functional hotel close to the centre of Maribor that doesn't go overboard trying to make its guests have the time of their lives. But during busy events, such as the Lent festival, it manages to pack all of its guests in as well as any of its competitors. It depends what you are after really: pristine accommodation out in Pohorje - a bit of a way from the centre of town - or something that might be a bit rough around the edges but is right there at the heart of things.
