For those who would prefer not to spend several hours walking, the option of seeing all of Maribor's central sights from the comfort of the Jurček tourist train can be an attractive option. Operated the Don Travel Agency, the train departs from the Franciscan Church near the tourist office, and winds its way through the most notable streets of the old town before returning to the church. The tours can be taken both with and without a guide, while it is also possible to hire the whole train for special occasions.
